Developed by Ghost Town Games and published by Team17 Digital Ltd, Overcooked was released earlier this year, and was named one of the best multiplayer experiences of the year. The latest DLC for this game, called The Lost Morsel, was released yesterday for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
The game was received very well by users and they just couldn’t get enough of it. Ghost Town Games took into consideration players’ requests for seconds and desserts, and therefore, launched The Lost Morsel DLC as part of the “Gourmet Edition”.
The DLC has the following new components
- 6 new chefs – Dinosaur, Robot, French Bulldog, Panda, Bear, and Pig – that can be unlocked;
- 6 new campaign levels set in an exotic new jungle theme;
- a new helicopter to navigate around the DLC world map.
If you still haven’t tried Overcooked, you can get a special Gourmet Edition digital bundle, which includes the main game as well as the DLC for £15.99/$19.99. The DLC alone will cost you £3.99 for Xbox One, £3.69 for PS4, and $4.99 for PC.
Hopefully devs will keep introducing more content for this game. For now, The Lost Morsel seems pretty great, and will surely add to the commercial and critical success of this extremely fun couch co-op cooking game.
