PC release of Devil May Cry 5 supposedly delayed [Rumor]

It looks like the PC release of Devil May Cry 5 might be delayed.

Devil May Cry 5 is being released on PC via Steam and was set to release alongside the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game on March 8, 2019. Now according to the game’s updated listing on SteamDB, the PC version will now release on May 7 of this year, a full two months later.

Interestingly another listing for the game was just updated earlier today, and that has no release date.

We just hope this is a mistake on Capcom’s part, as the delay would really disappoint PC fans. Capcom also removed Denuvo from the PC release of Resident Evil 7 in an update earlier today, maybe Denuvo implementation could have something to do with the delay?

As with any rumor, do wait for an official confirmation before freaking out.

In related you should check out the Collector’s Edition for the game, which features a Van! In an recent interview we covered the game’s director mentioned they’re taking inspiration from Western movies like The Avengers for the game, which should prove to be interesting.

Thoughts on the rumor? Let us know in the comments.
