Persona 5 is proving to be one of the highest rated JRPG that is released this generation on the PS4 but Atlus didn’t skip out on localizing the PS3 version of the game, which was also its original platform of release. This has led to some progress towards its emulations on PC through the RPC3 emulator, which had earlier showed great progress by emulating Demon’s Souls on PC.
While Persona 5 can also be seen complete with its emulation working on PC, it shows a lot of showdowns in action so it can’t be considered playable in its current state, still it is remarkable to see the efforts made by the developers on the PS3 emulator, which was unplayable just an year ago.
You can check out a video showing Persona 5 running on a PC below.
Persona 5 is a unique case here as there isn’t that huge difference between the PS3 and PS4 version of the game in term of assets aside from a higher resolution on the PS4 version of the game. While the PS4 version is the definitive way to experience Persona 5, it is possible that once this PS3 emulator is updated to support higher resolution, Persona 5 might truly shine on PC as well.
Persona 5 will be out on April 4th for the PS3 and PS4.
