Persona 5 Gets 18 Minutes Of Brand New Gameplay

During a livestream earlier today, developer Atlus showcased 18 minutes of all new gameplay for their upcoming game, Persona 5.

The footage showed a bunch of new content that will be present in the game as well as giving us a glimpse into the day to day activities that can be preformed by the protagonist, such as fishing, crossword puzzles, boxing and even dating. Another feature shown in the stream was the game’s crafting system, which would allows players to craft items or customize equipment.

For those who don’t know, persona games feature a unique and very crucial gameplay mechanic known as the Social Link system, and performing side activities helps your character level up their Social Links. Each link represents a certain type of Arcana in the game, and leveling them up increases the experience the player receives whenever they fuse Personas of that certain Arcana, as well as unlocking the strongest Persona in that certain category.

The stream, named “Take The Treasure”, has since been taken down, but small clips like the one above are present on Youtube.
