Atlus has just announced that Persona 5 shipments across the world have crossed 3.2 million units, a new record for the series.
Persona 5 Royal, the ‘enhanced’ version of the original, also sold well in its home country of Japan crossing 400k shipments so far.
The Persona series in total has crossed 11.1 million units sold, which is quite the jump since the series only really started getting popular after Persona 3.

With Royal set to release in March next year, we’re looking forward to see what the Persona team is up to next. Maybe the 6th game? Hopefully that doesn’t take as long as the gap between the fourth and fifth game.
