Persona 5 The Royal E3 2019 Trailer Released, Launches In 2020 For West

Atlus has shared the E3 2019 trailer for Persona 5 The Royal and reaffirmed a 2020 release window for the game. It will be released exclusively for PS4.

This is an expanded version of the original game featuring a new semester at the end of the story, new characters, and improved gameplay systems. It will be out this year for Japan and in 2020 for the rest of the world.

Here is an overview of the game and the introduction to voice-overs for the new characters.

The Phantom Thieves return in Persona 5 Royal, launching in the West in 2020! Two years ago, the Phantom Thieves stole the hearts of millions of fans around the world. Now, they’re getting ready to make their triumphant return in Persona 5 Royal, an enhanced release of ATLUS’s acclaimed JRPG Persona 5.

In this E3 2019 trailer, reunite with Persona 5’s English voice cast and take a look at some of the new cutscenes, locations, abilities, and characters that you’ll meet in Persona 5, including the brand new playable party member, Kasumi Yoshizawa!

Persona 5 The Royal is not the only Persona 5 related game that is coming out soon. Atlus has also announced Persona 5 Scramble for PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
