Play Star Citizen For Free For The Rest Of October

Star Citizen is an upcoming space sim currently in development for the PC and Linux, and is perhaps one of the biggest and most ambitious games to ever be conceived. And now it is free to play for the rest of the month.

What the developers describe as “Free Fly”, is basically an extended demo for the Alpha build of the game that is likely intended to give players an incentive to purchasing the full game. In this trail, all players are given access to a F7C-M Super Hornet and are free to play the game with no restrictions.

To play, all you have to do is sign up on the game’s official website and enter the promo code “FALL2016″ on this page. From here, all you have to do is download the game and start playing.

Earlier this month it was also announced at Citizencon 2016 that Squadron 42, Star Citizen’s single player mode, had been delayed. The reason stated was that there were a number of areas such as the pathfinding and AI logic that were still in need of further development.
