PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) Is Free For A Limited Time On Xbox One [Update]

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is free for a limited time and you can get it now to own it forever on the Xbox One.

Microsoft is running a promotion for PUBG ahead of their Xbox X018 event and this seems to lead to the game available free of cost on the Xbox Live Store. You can grab it right now to own it forever if that’s what you want. It is a good offer for those who want to play the game, and there is no requirement for Xbox Live Gold to get it.

To download and claim PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) for Xbox One, please go to the following Microsoft store link and make sure you are in the region for your account first, and then purchase the game as usual and it will be given as free.

Right now, there is no estimated time given on when this offer will expire, but it is best to grab it as soon as you can to avail this offer.

Update: Another game is confirmed to be free for a limited time. You can grab Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 from the Microsoft store by following this link. This is likely all part of the upcoming Xbox X018 event to be held later this week.

Update 2: This has turned out to be a free-to-play weekend that will start from November 8th and last until November 11. It was confirmed by Microsoft. Apologies for any confusion over the initial report since it was unclear at that point. Even The Verge reported about it being free to own.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) is also rumored to make an appearance on the PS4. It has already been leaked for it through the PlayStation Store and this basically guarantees a release. Rumors point towards a launch in December but there is no official confirmation of it so far.
