Bloodborne is the latest project from From Software. It is being developed exclusively for the PlayStation 4 and directed by Hidetaka Mayazaki, the creator of Demon’s Souls and Dark Souls.
Bloodborne was leaked ahead of its official announcement in the form of ‘Project Beast‘ video, which turned out to be Bloodborne. This video showed about 19 secs of gameplay from an old version of the game, and as we saw yesterday at Sony’s conference, it was confirmed to be Bloodborne.
The game was shown as a 2015 release at the end of the trailer, but according to PlayStation Store listing, the game might be coming early in 2015. The store lists the release date as Spring 2015 (March 31st 2015), which isn’t the exact date but points to an early 2015 release. This will coincide with the release of The Order: 1886, which has been confirmed for February 20th 2015 release on the PlayStation 4.
If you are interested in placing a digital pre-order for the game, you can go to the PlayStation Store listing here.
Hidetaka Mayazaki will be revealing more information at the game at the on-going E3 gaming expo. We might see a proper gameplay reveal as well soon.
