PlayStation 4 has been officially launched in North America, Europe and the Middle East. In an event earlier today in New Dehli, India’s capital city, Sony India officially revealed that the PlayStation 4 will be hitting shelves in India on January 6, 2014.
PlayStation 4 will be priced at ₹39,990 which is equivalent to $645. PlayStation 3, when it was launched officially in India, carried the same price tag that the PlayStation 4 carries. The PlayStation Camera and the DualShock 4 will cost around ₹4,990 each and the first-party launch titles, Knack and Killzone: Shadow Fall, will cost around ₹3,999 each. PlayStation 4 is available to be pre-ordered from many retailers in India.
Sony PlayStation India’s boss, Atindrya Bose, stated that the PlayStation 4 + PS Vita Bundle won’t be making it to India for some time.
