PlayStation 4 is the eight-generation console from Sony. Being highly successful all over the world, it’s time for the PlayStation 4 to also shine bright in the Middle East. Official Sony representatives of the Middle East announced the console would go on sale officially on December 13 and as promised, the console is now available all over the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The price for the PlayStation 4 in Saudi Arabia starts from SR.1799 which is equivalent to ~$479 and includes just the basic console. More deals are also available from retailers and from Official Sony showrooms all over Saudi Arabia which include bundles such as PlayStation 4 + Killzone: Shadow Fall + An Extra Controller/1 Year PS+ Membership, and these retail for around SR.1999 which is equivalent to ~$533.
Many retailers in Saudi Arabia were also selling the PlayStation 4 as early as the second week of November following the PlayStation 4’s launch in North America. These retailers were selling the console for as high as SR. 4499 or ~$1200 without any warranty. These PlayStation 4s were imported from North America by retailers to be sold here.
