PlayStation App 3.50 Update Live On iOS/Android, Remote Play PC Software Released

Sony has updated the official PlayStation App for iOS and Android to version 3.50 ahead of the release of the latest system software update for PS4. The new features introduced in the latest update include addition of Dailymotion to Live from PlayStation and the ability to create events.

You can check out the full set of changes below.

– You can now create events.
– dailymotion has been added to [Live from PlayStation].
– Other players’ shared activities now appear in your activities.
– Players who have been tagged now appear in your activities.

In addition to the app update, Sony has also released the remote play client for PC/Mac. This client will allow users to remote play their PS4 games to the PC. The current limit is at 720p and 60 fps. You can download the client from here. It supports the following hardware.

A computer with either of the following operating systems.
Windows® 8.1 (32-bit or 64-bit)
Windows® 10 (32-bit or 64-bit)
Intel Core i5-560M Processor 2.67 GHz or faster
100 MB or more of available storage
2 GB or more of RAM

PlayStation 4 will get a new firmware update 3.50 today that will add the option to stream gameplay to DailyMotion as well the ability to remote play PS4 games to PC. This firmware is scheduled to go live at somepoint today.
