Pokemon GO players have managed to discover a neat easter egg in the game which hints at the legendary Pokemon Ditto, which was available for capture if players used a Pester Ball in Pokemon Snap to capture a Bulbasaur.
The easter egg can be seen in the form of the Poke Ball menu. If you keep the Poke Ball menu pressed in the game, you will be able to see different shades of color as seen below.
These color are also present in the infamous Pester Ball that was featured in Pokemon Snap for the Nintendo 64. In that game, players had to throw this Pester Ball at a Bulbasaur in order to transform it into a Ditto in the game.
The colors of the Poke Ball menu can also be related to the three legendary birds: Moltres, Zapdos and Articuno. They are represented by Red, Yellow and Blue color respectively. Mew and Mew Two can also be seen in Purple/Pink.
Ditto is an extremely rare Pokemon that is usually famous because of its transformation. He has the ability to transform into any other Pokemon which can prove him useful for those who want a specific type of Pokemon in their party.
Pokemon GO players have yet to discover Ditto in the game although he has been located in the source code of the game, complete with his own description.
Pokemon GO is available now for the iOS and Android. It was developed by Niantic Labs and published by Nintendo.
