Pokemon Go making $2.5 million per day after Trading update, up 39% two months trailing average

Thought Pokemon Go was dead? Well its far from it. The game has enjoyed a 39% increase in daily revenue after developers Niantic released the much awaited Trading update.

According to latest data, Pokemon Go users are spending more on the game after the Trading update was released. Daily revenue has gone up to $2.5 million per day, up from $1.8 million, worldwide. The aforementioned numbers accumulate sales from both the Apple App Store and Google Play store.

Go’s continued rise was seen as early as back in August when it become the higher grossing game in the USA.

Most mobile games don’t generate such sustained revenue this long after release, the game in this case certainly is an anomaly.

Released back in July 6, 2016 Pokemon Go is available on Android and iOS devices.
