While playing Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee you’ll find Golden Bottle Caps or just the standard Bottle Caps. Since they weren’t present in previous games and Let’s Go doesn’t explain what they do really well many people are wondering what they do, this article goes into detail about what Bottle Caps do in Pokemon Let’s Go.
What do Bottle Caps do in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee
The game has two types of Bottle Caps, Golden and the standard. They come in use after completing the main game by beating the Elite 4 and your rival.
You can use the Bottle Caps in a house by Route 5. You can get to Route 5 by Sky Dashing to Cerulean City and then heading South.
Route 5 will have a small house, I’m of course talking about the Day Care center which you’ve probably visited before. You can leave your Pokemon to be raised by talking to the old woman, but talking to the old man does something more interested.
He’s called the Hyper Trainer apparently and will train your Pokemon’s stats. They will need to be Level 100 for the Hyper Trainer to put in the effort though. For a normal Bottle Cap the Hyper Trainer will train one stat of your choice, while if you give him a Golden Bottle Cap he’ll train all of the Pokemon’s stats.

The Hyper Trainer comes super useful in the post-game as you attempt to finish all of the game’s challenges.
