Like previous games, Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee will also allow you to Fast Travel to locations you’ve visited before using Fly.
Fly was previously an HM but functions differently in Pokemon Let’s Go. The move has been now replaced by a Secret Technique called Sky Dash, read on on how to learn in the new games.
Learn Fly/Sky Dash in Pokemon Let’s Go for Fast Travel
Pokemon Let’s Go is very different to previous mainline games, with one of the biggest differences being with the game replacing Hidden Machines (HMs) with Secret Techniques. They’re pretty much the same as HMs but thankfully don’t permanently lock down a move slot.
To get the Sky Dash Secret Technique you need to follow the game’s story till you reach Celadon City a few hours in. There you have to go into the basement of the Gaming Corner, which leads to the Team Rocket Headquarters. There after beating Giovanni at the end, you’ll get a Silph Scope. The Scope can be used to further forward the story but first we’ll need to head out.
Just outside the Gaming Corner you’ll find a man next to a weird flying seat with balloons. Talk to him and he’ll teach either Pikachu or Eevee Sky Dash depending on the version of the game you have.
You can now use Sky Dash in Pokemon Let’s Go similar how to Fly functioned in previous games.
- Dratini, Dragonair and Dragonite Locations
- Bottle Caps, What do they Do?
- How to get a Bike
- Where is the Nature Lady Fortune Teller
- Power Plant Location
That’s it, you’ll have permanent Fast Travel from now on.
