Nintendo and The Pokemon Company are gearing up for some big news in the coming days. Both have announced a press conference and a new Nintendo Direct for Pokemon in early June.
First, there will be a Pokemon focused Press Conference by The Pokemon Company. During this conference, the developers plan to share some important updates and news on the series future.

This will be followed by a Nintendo Direct focused on Pokemon. It is scheduled for June 5 (or 6) depending on your timezone.

While the press conference could be for sharing news on the future of the franchise, the direct is aimed at revealing more information on Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield, which are set to release this year on the Nintendo Switch.
