Pokemon Sun and Moon: How To Catch An Alolan Vulpix

The Alolan Vulpix is just one of the many new variants of already existing Pokemon that can be found in the recently released Pokemon Sun and Moon games, and this guide will show you just where you can catch one of them.

To start with, keep in mind that the Alolan Vulpix and it’s evolved from, Alolan Ninetales, are both exclusive to Pokemon Sun only. So the only way for you get one of these in Pokemon Moon is to trade with someone who has already caught one in Pokemon Sun.

If you happen to have Pokemon Sun, then read on.

To catch an Alolan Vulpix, you should wait until you are a fair bit into the game as the area you need to reach is sealed off. So after you have completed all the Trails, head over to Ula’ula Island and go to Mount Lanakila north of Route 14.

Take the elevator to the top, and search in the nearby grass until eventually an Alolan Vulpix pops out.

Now that you have your Alolan Vulpix, you can also go ahead and evolve it into an Alolan Ninetales using an Ice Stone. Click here to find out how to get one of these.
