Developed by Team Ninja, Nioh is an upcoming role playing game that is set to release next year exclusively for the PlayStation 4. Now, Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the two versions of the game that will be available to purchase at launch, as well as the bonus content that will be available to those who pre-order the game.
The two versions of the game that are available for purchase are the Standard Edition, and the Digital Deluxe Edition. The Standard Edition will very obviously include the full game, while the Deluxe Deluxe Edition will not only include the base game, but will also come with a weapons pack with 5 new weapons, a PlayStation 4 avatar and the game’s Season Pass.
Pre-ordering either version of the game will give players The Nioh armor, seen below, as well as a Nioh Dynamic Theme for their consoles.
On top of this, pre-ordering either edition of the game from the PlayStation Store or buying it within the first 2 weeks of the game’s launch will also net players the Crimson Master Armor.
Set in a fictionalized version of the Sengoku era, the game places you in the role of a samurai named William as he proceeds to hunt down the yokai that threaten the land. The game has also drawn many comparisons from the Souls series of games.
Nioh is slated for release on 9th February, 2017, exclusively for the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation 4 Pro consoles. You can learn more about the game here.
