TeamVVV recently revealed the update 6.0 for Project CARS on PS4. The download size for the update is approximately 5.6 GB on PS4 as compared to 6GB on PC. Xbox One users, however will have to wait a little longer for the update. But Slightly Mad Studios confirmed that update 6.0 will be available for Xbox One before the end of this month. The update includes race length by time, an option for mandatory pitstops, and the ability for server admins to kick players from the server.
The most important feature added in this update for Project CARS is host kick function. The host of an online game can now select to immediately kick a player from the server. Kicked players will be auto-kicked if they attempt to rejoin the same multiplayer session. Moreover, Ghosted Vehicles’ option has been included in the update which let the lobby admin decide whether he wants vehicles ghosted or not when they’re driven the wrong way.
One of the major issues fixed in the new update is when AI opponents would attempt to use DLC cars that are not installed. Additionally, the Thrustmaster T150 support has also been added in the new update.
The complete patch details for Project CARS can be viewed on TeamVVV website.
