PS Plus free games lineup for the month of February 2018 has been reportedly leaked online through an alleged image. It is hard to argue the authenticity of the image since similar leaks in the past turned out to be 100% correct. If the leaked image is to believed, PS Plus subscribers are in for a treat next month with two amazing games joining the PlayStation Plus monthly games lineup.
The leaked image lists the two upcoming PS4 game which are Far Cry 4 and Dark Souls 2: Scholars of the First Sin. Both of these are for the PS4 with one of them being published by Ubisoft, who has shown strong support for PS Plus and Xbox Live Games with Gold. Dark Souls 2 is from Bandai Namco and it was a remaster of the PS3 and Xbox 360 version that runs at 60 FPS and comes bundled with all of the post launch DLCs.
While Far Cry 4 seems plausible enough considering Ubisoft has supported the service in the past, Bandai Namco hasn’t been that big of a supporter so far. If it is just a fake leak, it is possible that someone looked at the upcoming games and thought of adding Dark Souls 2 because of the upcoming remaster of the original Dark Souls along with Far Cry 4 to coincide with the release of Far Cry 5.
Sony will officially announce the games for PS Plus February 2018 next week so we will have to wait for a few days before an official announcement is made. Even if this rumor seems rather far fetched or too good to be true, such leaks in the past have bee pretty accurate for predicting the upcoming PS+ games lineup.
