Sony has released a brand new system software update for the PS4 today. This PS4 firmware update is aimed at improving the system software performance for the PS4.
The download size of this new update is around 300 MB and it should be avaialable worldwide. The patch notes don’t mention any major changes.
“This system software update improves the quality of the system performance.”
This is the second update within a month by Sony and while it appears to be a minor update, it is still mandatory which means users will be required to update their PS4 in order to connect online to PSN.
