PS4 Firmware Update Version 6.00 To Get Closed Beta, Registration Open Now

Sony is offering a closed beta for the upcoming PS4 firmware update that seems to be a major one judging from the jump to system software version 6.00. You will have to register for the beta test in order to be eligible for download the firmware update before it officially launches for the public.

You can check out the following links to sign-up for the beta firmware update. Make sure to do so before the time runs out. The sign-ups will remain open from today until July 27th while the beta firmware update will be rolled out at a later date.

You need to use the link for the region for which you have the main PSN account on PS4. The beta firmware update is usually given as a code that can be downloaded on your PS4.

If you manage to register for the beta test, you will be given a code in the email that will be gradually released to everyone who has applied for the beta test. The new features and additions for this upcoming PS4 firmware update are still unknown so we will have to wait and see to find out more about it.
