The PS4 was Finally release in japan. The Japanese finally get what they have been waiting for. Thousands of fan attended the event and many more spectated the event from the confort of their homes via livestream. The livestream was broadcasted worldwide for people all over the world to enjoy. Some Japanese celebrities such as singers, actors, etc sent video messages which were shared with the people there and the people watching the livestream.
Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studio President Shuhei Yoshida, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan and Asia President Hiroshi Kawano and Sony Computer Entertainment CEO Andrew House also attended the event and gave speeches on the console release in its home country.
Vice President of Konami Digital Entertainment, Hideo Kojima, also attended the event and revealed the Limited Edition, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes FOX Edition.
The bundle includes a standard PS4 ( Nothing Special in terms of Hardware) with a 500 gb hard disk, but it comes with a custom FOX emblem and the logo of the game in gold. It costs $462.
A few exhibition matches were also held to entertain the audience, featuring Killzone: Shadow Fall and FIFA 14.
The event was a big success and everyone enjoyed themselves a lot and the attendees were all very excited to get home and try out their new PS4.
