It appears that the Playstation Network is experiencing some technical difficulties. Users on Twitter and Reddit are reporting that PSN is currently down, with an unscheduled maintenance message showing up when attempting to access the network.
According to the PSN Status Page, all services are up and running. However, that doesn’t appear to be the case, as even Bungie announced on Twitter that the issue is mainly affecting PS4 users.

Meanwhile, Activison has also announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 for PS4 is completely offline.

Thankfully, Sony is now aware of these connectivity issues, and is now investigating a solution.

This would be the second time since the start of 2016 that PSN has gone down due to technical issues. Here’s hoping that Sony can get the network back up for all those who are affected.
