Sony has confirmed that PSN Online ID change will be effective starting today. They have shared the details on how to change your PSN ID and the restrictions that come with it.
PSN Online ID change was one of the most requested features by almost anyone. This feature is available on Xbox Live for a while now and with some limitations in place, but it wasn’t possible to do so on the PSN until a beta firmware update was released by Sony.
Today, this feature will be rolled out for everyone so if you want to get your online ID changed, take a look at this FAQ that explains it in detail.
PlayStation 4:
- Step 1: From your PS4 go to [Settings].
- Step 2: Select [Account Management] > [Account Information] > [Profile] > [Online ID].
- Step 3: Enter an Online ID of your choice or choose from one of the suggestions.
- Step 4: Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the change.
Web browser:
- Step 1: Sign in to your
