RAGE 2 is out now for the PS4 and Xbox One. It is also available on PC. Digital Foundry has taken a look behind the technical specs of RAGE 2 running on the PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One, and Xbox One X. Here is how the game runs on different consoles.
RAGE 2 runs at 30 FPS on both the PS4 and Xbox One but the jump to PS4 Pro and Xbox One X doubles the frame rate. The drawback is that the resolution is still 1080p on both platforms. As far as the base consoles are concerned, the game runs at 1080p on the PS4 and 900p on the Xbox One.
RAGE 2 doesn’t run at locked 60 FPS on the enhanced consoles. As per Digital Foundry, they did notice a couple of dips here and there and there was also some tearing present on both consoles. It is still a better result than the 30 FPS achieved by the PS4 and Xbox One.
RAGE 2 was developed by Avalanche Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is available now for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
