A new game mode called ‘Secure Area’ has been revealed for Ubisoft’s tactical first-person shooter, Rainbow Six Siege. The new mode has been revealed by Youtuber Arekkz Gaming.
In ‘Secure Area’, one team will be required to secure and guard a key location on the map, while the other team will need to find it, take over it, and hold it for 30 seconds. Alternatively, the match can also be won by wiping out the other team.
The video can be seen below.

The youtuber commented that he found ‘Secure Area’ to be more enjoyable than the other game mode available in Rainbow Six Siege i.e. ‘Hostage Rescue’, where one team guards a captive hostage and the other team tries to break-in and rescue the captive.
A multiplayer beta for Rainbow Six Siege will soon be available to download for those who signed up for it on the game’s official site. It’s likely that both game modes will be available to try out during this beta.
In the commends below, let us know if you managed to get into the beta and are looking to try it out in the days to come.
