Rainbow Six Siege reaches 50 Million players

Ubisoft Montreal developed Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege has hit the 50 Million Players milestone.

Released back in December of 2015 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, Rainbow Six Siege was in quite the trouble when initial sales seemed “weak” compared to projections. Siege is also super popular around the eSports community, with the game now part of ESL.

Here’s what the game’s growth was like over the years:

The last benchmark the game hit was 45 Million Players back in February of this year. Adding 5 million more new players for a game a few years old is certainly impressive.

Best comeback story for a game in recent times? What do you think?

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is available now on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
