Ubisoft Montreal developed Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege has hit the 50 Million Players milestone.
Released back in December of 2015 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, Rainbow Six Siege was in quite the trouble when initial sales seemed “weak” compared to projections. However ever since the game adopted the “GAAS” model, it has become one of the most played games in recent years. Siege is also super popular around the eSports community, with the game now part of ESL.
Here’s what the game’s growth was like over the years:

The last benchmark the game hit was 45 Million Players back in February of this year. Adding 5 million more new players for a game a few years old is certainly impressive.
