Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Update Version 1.49 Adds Operation Para Bellum

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege has received a brand new update today that is one of the largest content updates that has been released for the game so far. This update is titled Operation Para Bellum and adds two new defending operators, Alibi and Maestro, alongside an all new map, Villa, set in the Italian countryside.

Some other new additions include a new intel gadget, operator speed adjustments, bulletproof cameras, and the all new Pick & Ban setting. A feature that evolves the way players engage with multiplayer. Players will be able to unlock the new content starting today using Renown or R6 Credits.

Here is what is included in this content update for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege

Major Game Updates

  • Deloyable Bullet Proof Cameras
  • New Counter Defuser Animation
  • Dropshotting¬† Adjustments
  • New Observation Tool Management
  • Operator Speed Adjustments
  • Echo Buff
  • Clubhouse Map Buff
  • Discovery Playlist

Unfortunately, despite confirming that this update will add support for the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, which will run at 1440p and 1728p respectively, there was no implementation for their support in the update. It is possible that they have been delayed although Ubisoft hasn’t shared anything official regarding their removal from the update.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is available to play now on the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
