Rockstar Games might have unintentionally leaked a screenshot of Red Dead Online that shows one of the opening missions.
This discovery was made on the official servers of Rockstar Games. It was observed that the official website has images that appear when you complete a specific task and one of them was related to Red Dead Online. The image can be seen over at Reddit.
Red Dead Redemption 2 has a trophy related to Red Dead Online which is labeled as ‘Breakout’ and it is simply rewarded by completing the intro. The theory speculates that the leaked image shows a prison van so perhaps the first task in Red Dead Online is to get free from it and hence the achievement is called Breakout. This was reported by Rockstar Intel.
As for the validity of this image and the rumor, it is still too early to tell. Red Dead Online will go live later this month as confirmed by Take Two CEO, but the first phase of the launch is as a public beta. Those who own a copy of Red Dead Redemption 2 will be able to enjoy the online mode once it is ready to launch officially.
