Red Dead Redemption 2 Fan-Made World Map Looks Amazing, Comparison With First Game

Red Dead Redemption 2 has a long history of leaks and rumors. Before the game was announced, there was a world map floating around that was reportedly from the sequel and once the game was confirmed, there was little to doubt this leaked map.

While Red Dead Redemption 2 won’t be out until later in October, fans who are excited about it are trying to find every little piece of information about it, and now some of them have managed to create a world map from the leak.

This map was created by user DupZor on the GTA Forums. One Reddit user has taken this map to scale it next to the world map featured in Red Dead Redemption 1, giving us an idea of how large this map can be compared to the first game.

Keep in mind that this was one of the early leaks for the game so there is always the chance that the design of the map was changed in time for the launch. Red Dead Redemption 2 is a huge open world game and while the map size can appear to be similar, it features more verticality and a better living and breathing world than its predecessor. You can catch glimpse of it in the first gameplay trailer.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will be out on October 26th for the PS4 and Xbox One. It is also rumored to release for the PC at a later date.
