Rockstar Games has finally dropped the curtain on their mysterious teasers that were hinting at a potential Red Dead Redemption sequel. The sequel has been rumored for a while now but it has been officially confirmed recently.
The official website for Rockstar Games has now listed the release date of the Red Dead Redemption sequel along with a date for the reveal trailer. The trailer will be released on October 20th at 11 AM ET.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will be a sequel to the original judging from the name. It will be the third game in the Red Dead series after Red Dead Revolver and Red Dead Redemption. It will be developed by Rockstar Games and published by 2K Interactive.
Rockstar Games has started a chain of teasers beginning with changing their logo to red on the official social media account. They then teased with another image that showed some characters standing in the backdrop of a sun. The teaser confirmed the western setting and basically revealed that it was the rumored Red Dead Redemption sequel.
Red Dead Redemption was a critical and commercial success for Rockstar Games. It won numerous game of the year awards and was a surprise success for Rockstar Games.
