Red Dead Redemption 2 update version 1.03 is available now on the PS4 and Xbox One. What does it do?
Rockstar Games announced that Red Dead Redemption 2 will get the previously teased online mode later this month and it appears that this new update is in preparation of the Red Dead Online mode. This online mode is scheduled to go live today as early access for those who have the ultimate edition of the game.
Rockstar Games will make the Red Dead Online access public to all users on November 30 while it will be gradually rolled out to others from November 27 till November 30.

The download size of this new patch for Red Dead Redemption 2 is around 5.4 GB on the PS4. It should be similar in size on the Xbox One. As for the patch notes, currently, no official patch notes are available. We will update this article once Rockstar Games releases an official set of patch notes for the game.
Red Dead Online will be in early access and beta phase for now. Rockstar Games hasn’t shared any details on when the full version will go live for the game. This is also the first major update for Red Dead Redemption 2 since its launch in late October.
