The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was recently revealed in a lengthy gameplay footage at Nintendo Treehouse event at E3 2016. The game appears to be the first proper open-world Zelda game featuring a huge open world full of secrets to explore and dungeons to clear. It is currently in development for the Nintendo Wii U along with the upcoming Nintendo NX.
Nintendo America President Reggie Fils-Aime was recently questioned about the difference between Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the Wii U vs. NX. When asked by his host iJustine over the possible different between both versions of the game, he replied back: “the differences we’ll show those off in the future.”
Since Nintendo NX is going to be the successor of Wii U, it will obviously have the better hardware. It should be interesting to see how Zelda: Breath of the Wild will look on the NX compared to what we have seen of it on the Wii U. The game does appear to have faced a bit of downgrade going from its original reveal to its current showing at E3, but maybe the NX version can match the original reveal graphics.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be released next year for the Nintendo Wii U and the mysterious Nintendo NX. You can watch some of its E3 2016 gameplay footage from here.
