Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III is an upcoming real time strategy game in development by Relic Entertainment. It is the third installment in the Dawn of War series, and takes place in the brutal setting of the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
Up until now, no official release date for the game had been revealed, with the only information being that the game would come out sometime next year. Now, according to a listing on SEGA’s official website, Dawn of War III is set to release on 30th April, 2017.
The 3 initial races available to play will be the Blood Raven Space Marines, the Eldar and the Orks, each of whom will participate in the game’s three faction campaign. For the first time in the series, Dawn of War III will also introduce larger-scale walker units for each race: Imperial Knights for the Space Marines, Wraithknights for the Eldar, and Gorkanauts for the Orks.
At this rate, hopefully Dawn Of War V will feature Imperator class Titans.
The plot of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III follows the discovery of a catastrophic weapon on the planet Acheron, which prompts these 3 races to converge on the planet. The Space Marines are led by Commander Gabriel Angelos, the Eldar are led by Farseer Macha and the Orks are lead by Warlord Gorgutz.
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III is set for release on 30th April, 2017 on the PC.
