Resident Evil 2 is all but confirmed to get a new demo soon, as a listing was found on the Microsoft Xbox Live Store for a demo version of the game.
As discovered by TrueAchievements, this listing shows a demo with the title “1-Shot” that is limited to just 30 minutes of gameplay. Here is a description of the listing on the Microsoft Xbox Live Store.
This specially tuned demo allows you to experience the newly reimagined Resident Evil 2, but be warned: whilst you can continue as many times as you like after dying, you’ll only have 30 MINUTES to complete the demo. So judging from the wording on the demo, this is not just restricted in term of play time but will also get removed from the store at the end of January Resident Evil 2 Remake will launch on January 25th so there will be at least one week to sample out the game before it launches.
Resident Evil 2 Remake will be out for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on January 25th, 2019. The game is currently in development at Capcom and will be also published by them.
