Resident Evil 2 Goddess Statue Three Medallion Puzzle Guide

Resident Evil 2 mainly takes place in the Raccoon City Police Station and to get out of there in the first phase of the campaign you need to solve the Goddess Statute Three Medallion Puzzle. Follow the guide below to know where to get the three medallions.

The Goddess Statue is located right aside the stairs in the main hallway of the police station in Resident Evil 2. You can’t miss it when entering after clearing the gas station prologue and rushing from the streets in the opening.

The Resident Evil 2 Goddess Statue Three Medallion Puzzle when solved allows you to escape to the underground area and get to the next stage of the campaign, opening up a brand new area. To solve the puzzle you’ll need to find the Lion, Unicorn and Maiden medallions. This is done by solving the subsequent puzzles associated with each of the statues.

When you first enter the police station you’ll be asked to go to the East Hallway and by clearing that section you’ll get a notebook detailing the solution to the puzzles.

Resident Evil 2 Lion Medallion Solution

The Lion Statue is found when you go up the main stairs from the Goddess Statue. The solve it enter  Lion, Plant and then Eagle.

Resident Evil 2 Unicorn Medallion Solution

The Unicorn Statue is located in the Lounge room in the south section of the Library. To solve it enter Fish, Scorpion and then Vase.

Resident Evil 2 Maiden Medallion Solution

The third and final Medallion is the Maiden Medallion located in the third floor’s West Storage Room, access either through the Library or the route through the West hallway stairs. To access the Statue you’ll need to blow the gate using the C4 attached to it, this is done by combining it with the battery and electronic device. This puzzle is the most annoying as the symbols are damaged so it’ll be hard to see what you’re entertaining. The solution to this puzzle is Maiden, Bow and then Snake.

Next all you have to do is enter all three Medallions into the Goddess Statue to gain access to the underground area, where there’s a nice surprise waiting for you.

Interesting in more Resident Evil 2? Check out our coverage of the game’s different difficulty settings where we explain what each of them does. We also covered the game’s sub-par implementation of HDR, there’s a patch out right now but it doesn’t include any HDR fixes, maybe sometime in the future? Resident Evil 2 has a ton of great content planned for the future, including some free DLC, we can’t wait for more!
