Resident Evil 2 Remake Gets Tons of New Screenshots And Details At Gamescom

Resident Evil 2 Remake is out next year in January and Capcom is slowly dropping new information on the game. They have now shared new details and revealed screenshots for Claire portion of the story at Gamescom 2018.

Claire will be the second playable character after Leon. She has her own story that is different from Leon’s with new boss fights and more, but her story will intersect with Leon during certain key points. You can watch the new official screenshots featuring the return of a fan favorite villain and more.

Just like with Leon, Claire will have her own, full campaign that takes her through Raccoon City, the police department, and beyond. Familiar faces from the original game have received stunning upgrades in this remake, using the RE Engine to scan real people, right down to their clothing, to bring the heroes, villains, and world of Resident Evil 2 to life. The new Resident Evil 2 wraps everything up in an experience that both veteran fans and Resident Evil newcomers can enjoy.

Capcom has also released a brand new key art for the game with Leon and Claire on the cover.

Resident Evil 2 Remake will be out on January 25th, 2019, for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Capcom is developing the game on their brand new RE Engine, which is also utilized by the upcoming Devil May Cry 5.
