Resident Evil 7 PS4 vs. PS4 Pro Comparison Shows Huge Difference, Crispy Visuals

Resident Evil 7 is available on the PS4, Xbox One and PC. It is also the first major mainline Resident Evil game that can be played in first person view which also works well for the PlayStation VR.

While graphically the game looks good enough on the PS4, the difference between the game on the regular PS4 and the PS4 Pro is rather huge to say the least. This comes down to the resolution for the most part but it also completes cleans the image quality resulting in crisper visuals.

CandyLand has done a detailed comparison between the two different hardware as seen in the video below.

The game runs on native 1080p on the regular PS4 but offers a resolution of 4K on the PS4 Pro, which also gets supersampled for those who play it on a 1080p display screen. The end result is that the visuals are much more cleaner and detailed on the PS4 Pro compared to the standard PS4, which is something that also carries over the PlayStation VR mode.

Resident Evil 7 is available on January 24th for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
