Resident Evil: Revelations 2 announced for PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360

Developers Capcom have officially announced Resident Evil: Revelations 2 for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360. The game will be a full console title unlike the original which was originally developed for the 3DS. Resident Evil: Revelations however was later ported over to PC, Wii U, Xbox 360 and PS3.

The game was announced alongside a concept trailer which gives off a Dead Island vibe, check it out below:

The game won’t feature series stars like Chris Redfield or Jill Valentine but will instead take place in a brand new setting with new characters. More information for Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will be available at Tokyo Game Show next week where it is said to be playable, so expect a lot of coverage then.

The game is aiming for an early 2015 release worldwide. Are you looking forward to Revelations 2 or would you rather have Resident Evil 7? Discuss in the comments below.
