Resident Evil Revelations 2’s first episode is now available to download for free on PSN and Xbox Live. If you own a PlayStation 4, PS3, Xbox 360, or Xbox One and have been looking for an opportunity to try out the episodic survival horror game, you can do so now by downloading the first episode. Unfortunately, the offer is not available for on the PC for Steam users.
The first episode of Resident Evil Revelations 2, titled Penal Colony, introduces Moira Burton, who is the daughter of Resident Evil 1 survivor Barry Burton. She now works alongside Claire Redfield, who was one of the two protagonists from Resident Evil 2. The two are captured and imprisoned on a remote island that is filled with trouble.
Resident Evil Revelations 2 was originally released earlier this year on February 24. It was appreciated by fans for returning to its series roots. Here ere are the links to download the PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions of the game.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 is, without a doubt, the best modern Resident Evil yet. It has a perfect bland of action and survival horror gameplay, and one of the best implementation of co-op since Resident Evil 5. The short and focused campaign is a fun experience and the episodes are designed in a way that allows for multiple playthroughs. There are also plenty of secrets hidden throughout each episode, which should increase the relay value.
