Resident Evil Revelations 2 Offers Cross-Buy For PS3 And PS4 Version

Resident Evil Revelations 2 is another upcoming game from Capcom that is also utilizing cross-buy for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 version of the game. The previous game to utilize this concept was Resident Evil HD Remaster.

Capcom confirmed this news on their official blog and added that while pre-ordering the game on PlayStation Store granted access to a free DLC for the Raid Mode, it will also offer cross-buy functionality now.

PS3™ and PS4™ system players in SCEA (Sony Computer Entertainment America) territories can already nab the Raid Mode Throwback Map Pack when they pre-order the Complete Season, but now you can also take advantage of PlayStation®’s Cross-Buy feature and essentially get both versions for the price of one when you pre-order either version of the game!  This offer expires at the release of Episode 1 on Feb 24, 2015.

This offer will expire on 24th February, 2015, before the release of the first episode of the game. So if you want to get a free DLC and also cross-buy for the PS3/PS4 version, make sure to pre-order the game before the time is up.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 is a spin-off and a sequel to the original game, which was released on the Nintendo 3DS and later ported to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC and Nintendo Wii U. The sequel is coming to all the platforms except for Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. It will be an episodic release and the first episode will launch on February 24th, 2015.
