Respawn Entertainment is working on a Star Wars game right now, but this is not the only project from them. Titanfall 3 is also coming next according to a job listing.
Respawn Entertainment was brought to the spotlight first with Titanfall. It was one of the most talked about games during the launch of the Xbox One and it was exclusive to that platform thus leading to a war between ‘exclusives’ for PS4 and Xbox One. While the game did well, it was a disappointment overall due to the lackluster gameplay modes and lack of content at launch.
The sequel was announced as multiplatform right from the beginning but it didn’t really help the game sell more than the first one. After the sales weren’t up to the expectations of EA, it was rumored that they might cancel it. Thankfully, Respawn Entertainment is still working on Titanfall as per a new job listing.
This job listing can be found here and specifically asks for a Senior Animator and Build and Release Manager to work on Titanfall. There is no other way to interpret this news aside from the fact that a new Titanfall game is in development at Respawn Entertainment.
Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order is their next big project that will release in 2019 and according to the rumors, it is set for a November 2019 release window. Titanfall 3 might be their next mega project so it is not going to release any time soon.
