Flappy Bird was a game that made us lose our temper and hate our life but we just couldn’t stop playing it. The game has a simple concept but it was very difficult and frustrating. The game was downloaded by millions and even single one of them despized the game but still kept on playing it.
Eventually, the developer of Flappy Bird, Dong Nguyen, told the world that he was going to take the game down because it “Ruined” his life. He wanted to live a simple life and this game had disrupted his way of living. The popularity of the game brought in $50,000 a day in advertising revenue which means Dong Nguyen could have earned more then 18 Million dollars in a year through a simple mobile game.
I guess all that money ran out as now the super popular mobile game is making a return. Dong Nguyen told a CNBC reporter that the game will be a re-release of Flappy Bird and will feature a multiplayer.

So, Flappy Bird 2.0 will have the same style as the old version but it will have a new multiplayer. It will be interesting to see how the multiplayer will turn out.
