We saw many unexpected and surprising things at E3 2014. The Expo was by far the best and most memorable E3 ever. We saw gameplay of games we love and are excited to get our hands on like Far Cry 4, Grand Theft Auto 5 for the Next-Gen consoles and more. We also saw a lot of games being announced like Uncharted 4: The Thief’s End, LittleBigPlanet 3, etc.
Rise of the Tomb Raider was one of the newly announced games at E3. No one expected this announcement and it was surprising. By the looks of the reveal trailer, we see Lara transforming from a explorer who loved to uncover ancient secrets and artifacts in ancient tombs but after experiencing the horrors of the island in Tomb Raider, we see a very different Lara. The new Lara Croft doesn’t let anything get in her way and she does whatever it takes to get what she wants.
We have got some news regarding the Rise of the Tomb Raider. It appears that the Rise of the Tomb Raider will be a cross-gen title. Which means that the game will be available for the Next-Gen consoles as well as the Last-Gen consoles. The rumor of the Rise of the Tomb Raider being developed for Last-Gen consoles was put to rest when Amazon listed Rise of the Tomb Raider for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 alongside the Next-Gen consoles.
Many people thought that the Last-Gen consoles will die out in 2015 but developers have stayed true to their word and are still developing games for the Last-Gen consoles.
Rise of the Tomb Raider will be available sometime in 2015 and it will be available on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
