‘Rise of the Tomb Raider’ will finally be available on PlayStation 4 today. Developer Crystal Dynamics is said to be arranging a new package that will compensate PS4 players for waiting such a long time. ‘Rise of the tomb Raider’ is a sequel to the 2013 video game, ‘Tomb Raider’, and was released for Xbox One and Xbox 360 in November last year. The game was praised by various critics because of its graphics, gameplay, and characterization.
Megan Marie, senior community manager at Crystal Dynamics, at New York Comic Con said that the team wanted to develop something truly incredible. Something that not only incorporates all past DLC content, but also bits and pieces from Lara’s past. For this purpose, the 20 year Celebration Edition introduces a new single player story called ‘Blood Ties’, a co-op endurance mode, plus a ‘Nightmare’ mode. On top of this, PS4 players will be offered ‘Extreme Survivor’ difficulty, five classic Lara skins, and an outfit paying tribute to her Tomb Raider III Antarctica story.
All of this new content will be introduced in Xbox One and PC version as well. This actually gives additional benefits to VR owners as they will be able to experience the ‘Blood Ties’ mission in virtual reality, which will be loaded with nostalgic content, according to Marie.
