Rise of the Tomb Raider Confirmed For PS4 And PC, Releasing Next Year For Both

Rise of the Tomb Raider gets more details during E3 2015 Square Enix Conference

Square Enix has confirmed the release window for Rise of the Tomb Raider on PC and PS4. The game will be released on both platforms in 2016, as announced by Square Enix.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is currently an Xbox Timed Exclusive for this year and will be released on November 6th 2015 for the Xbox One and Xbox 360. Square Enix has now revealed the release window of the PC and PS4 version of the game. On PC, the game is set to release in ‘Early 2016’ and on PS4, it will be out in ‘Holiday 2016’, or a full year after its release on the Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Rise Of The Tomb Raider Coming Q4, 2016 On PC And PS4

Rise of the Tomb Raider is the sequel to Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition and it is being developed by Crystal Dynamics. The game was announced as an exclusive to Xbox One and Xbox 360 during Microsoft’s E3 2014 press conference.

Rise of the Tomb Raider was recently confirmed to be running at 1080p on the Xbox One. The developers were aiming for 1080p resolution and 30 fps for the game and seems to have achieved their target. An earlier rumor also mentioned a holiday 2016 release for the PS4 with a $39.99 price tag.
