Rise of the Tomb Raider has gone gold

The sequel to 2013’s Tomb Raider reboot, Rise of the Tomb Raider, has officially gone gold. The announcement came via Darrell Gallagher, Head of Product Development and Western Studios at Square Enix. Being a timed exclusive, the game is slated to hit Xbox One and Xbox 360 on November 10. A PC version will be available sometime in Spring 2016, while PS4 owners will have to wait for a while, as the game will be available on Sony’s current generation console in Fall next year.

According to Gallagher, the entire team at Crystal Dynamics has challenged themselves to improve upon the 2013 reboot that millions of fans enjoyed. The developer believes that it has created a worthy sequel in Rise of the Tomb Raider, and with the game development now complete, it is looking forward to sharing Lara’s latest adventure with series fans.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is scheduled to hit stores on November 10 in Americas and Asia, November 12 in Japan, and November 13 in Europe exclusively for the Xbox One and Xbox 360.
