Psyonix, the developer behind the monumentally successful Rocket League, has just released a brand new trailer for some upcoming Downloadable Content for the game which will be available starting next month.
The AquaDome update, as is is known, will bring with it a brand new free underwater arena named AquaDome, and will be available on every Rocket League playlist including Competitive. In addition to the free arena, the update will also bring with it two new Battle-Cars called the Triton and the Proteus.
Both of these cars have been designed with the underwater theme in mind, and will be available individually for USD $1.99 per vehicle.
Just a few ago, Psyonix also released the brand new Rumble mode for Rocket League which is an epic battle royale type mode that features randomized power-ups such as Disruptor, which Forces your opponents to drive uncontrollably, Grappling Hook, which Pulls players towards the ball and Tornado, which Summon a powerful vortex that sweeps up the ball and opposing players.
The developers also recently celebrated the game’s first anniversary back in July, with the game boasting around 18 million unique players as well as around an average of 1.1 million every day.
Rocket League is available for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and the PC. The AquaDome update is set to release in October, although no official release date has been announced as of yet.
